WHAT INSURANCE DOES BEE BALANCED THERAPY TAKE?

Bee Balanced Therapy is glad to provide therapy for people who want to use their insurance so that they can have access to quality care. Insurance deductibles and co-payments may apply. We will be able to provide an estimate of your cost, but please check with your insurance plan to verify your benefits.

We are able to see clients who are covered by insurance and/or who would prefer to pay out of pocket. Payment for services can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or HSA/FSA cards. We can keep a card on file on our secure platform so that you do not need to worry about providing payment each session.

Bee Balanced Therapy is in-network with the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Medicaid Fee For Service
  • Medicare
  • Molina Healthcare
  • Optum
  • SilverSummit
  • UMR
  • United Healthcare

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE OR MINE ISN'T ACCEPTED?

  • Bee Balanced Therapy has a few different private pay options. We also have some options for pro-bono or low-cost therapy. Please inquire if you would like to know about the availability of these appointments.
  • Bee Balanced Therapy can provide a superbill for clients to submit to their insurance for out of network benefits. A superbill is a detailed statement of services provided by your therapist, and it is submitted by a client to their insurance company for reimbursement for out of network services. To avoid any unexpected costs, please check with your insurance company about their superbill policies before selecting this option.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

Understanding the Difference: Student, Intern, and Licensed Clinician

At our practice, we have a team of caring therapists at different stages of their professional journey. No matter who you work with, you'll receive compassionate, high-quality support. Here's what those titles mean:

Fully Licensed Therapist

  • Has completed all education, clinical training, and licensure requirements in their field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
  • Can practice independently and supervise student or intern therapists.
  • Brings extensive experience, advanced training, and clinical expertise.
  • Often supports complex cases, provides supervision, and contributes to the overall clinical leadership of the practice.

Pre-Licensed Therapist (Intern)

  • Has completed their Master’s degree in a mental health field.
  • Working toward full licensure by completing the required post-graduate clinical hours (3,000 hours in Nevada).
  • Receives regular supervision from a licensed clinician to support their continued growth and ensure excellent client care.
  • Has experience working with clients and is skilled in applying therapeutic approaches.

Student Therapist

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy).
  • Completing clinical hours required for their degree.
  • Works under close supervision by both a licensed therapist at our practice and a university faculty supervisor.
  • Brings a fresh, thoughtful perspective and is trained in the latest, evidence-based practices.
  • Sessions are typically offered at a reduced rate to increase accessibility while they build experience.

Each type of therapist offers something unique, and all are committed to creating a safe, supportive space for your growth and healing. We’re happy to help you choose the therapist that best fits your needs and preferences.

I have known Roxanne for years, and she is a trusted clinician and colleague. She is driven to help her clients, specifically when working with families and anyone with a history of trauma. She is continuously working toward meeting her client's needs.
